The Pulse®: Frequently Asked Questions

CodeBlueNow! uses an innovative consensus-building survey tool. Learn all about The Pulse® here.

What is the Pulse®?

The CodeBlueNow! Pulse® is a public policy tool that surveys Americans’ ideas and values on what is important to them in a new health care system.  We use the findings to measure the pulse of the public’s views on health care reform.

What is Different about the Pulse® from other Polls and Surveys?

The Pulse® is designed to report on areas of consensus and common ground by measuring how strongly people feel on a range of issues.  The tool gathers input on respondents' views on a delivery system, how it should be paid for, and who should manage it.

How was the CodeBlueNow! Pulse® developed?

Starting with the Oregon Public Will Building project, CodeBlueNow! worked with a group of people to highlight key questions that have not been asked regarding healthcare.  Two versions have since evolved to the current survey tool on our website. CodeBlueNow! plans to continue to hone questions into a solutions‐based tool as we build consensus.

Why should I take the CBN Pulse®?

Your input is critical to giving the public a voice in the health care reform debate so we can tell our elected officials what we believe is paramount in a new health care system!

By taking the Pulse®, your opinions will be included into our core data.  That data will be used to develop proposals to present to our elected leaders for policy reform.

Our mission at CodeBlueNow! is to include your voice in the health care reform debate.  Please be sure to have your friends, family, and associates get involved today as well by taking the CodeBlueNow! Pulse®.
